Happy 3rd Birthday, Landon!

How quickly they grow!
We can't believe Landon is three!  He's such a big boy doing all kinds of big boy things!  He's potty trained, going to school once/week, has a big vocabulary, knows his letters and colors, and pretty much wants to do everything on his own.  He's really getting into books and is "quote" reading.  He is always asking us what the words say.  He's starting to sleep a bit better at night, but still isn't great.  We love the nights that we only get up once which is usually to go potty and back to bed.  About once/week we still get multiple wakings in a night leaving us exhausted.  We hope sleep is something that continues to improve in his fourth year.  We can't help but still love this guy despite the lack of sleep!
Happy Birthday Lando!

Landon loves everything tractor so we decided to throw him a construction-themed birthday party with lots of tractors.  There were areas for the kids to dig in the dirt, a place to build with blocks, a research area full of all tractor books, and a place to take a "break" and bounce.  We think the kids had a great time and we enjoyed how much fun our birthday boy had!  We can't thank everyone enough who came to celebrate our big boy.  Even Great-grandma Hori, Uncle Bry, Auntie Tak, Auntie Margaret, and Uncle Bo from SoCal all came up.  He's one special boy!

John was sweet and brought the boys into the office on Valentine's Landon's Birthday so Shani could see them.

This past week Carter also turned 10 months!  He's getting to be such a big boy too.  He's crawling all over the place and pulling himself up on everything.  He's starting to babble more and more.  He's signing earlier than Landon did.  Some of the ones he knows and does often are more, all-done, light, fan, ball.  He also will do a couple motions when we say like dance, clap, stretch, and bye-bye.  He is also starting to mimic some sounds which is so cute.  He's such a sweet little boy who loves his brother, although to Landon it is pestering. These boys are sure crazy fun!
